Who we are

EH Care provides safe, nurturing residential homes for children and young people in Warwickshire. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, for example when you contact us, apply for a role, or make a referral. This may include your name, contact details, organisation, and the content of any message you send. For young people in our care and our employees, we also process the categories of data necessary to deliver regulated care and to meet our legal obligations.

How we use your information

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, manage referrals and placements, recruit and employ staff, safeguard the young people in our care, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations to Ofsted and placing authorities.

Legal basis

We rely on consent, legitimate interests, the performance of a contract, legal obligation, or the protection of vital interests, depending on the context in which we are processing your data.

Sharing your information

We only share data with third parties where necessary; for example placing authorities, regulators, health and education partners, or trusted service providers operating under contract. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@eh-care.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.
